The lighting in this shot was tricky but, in the end worth the time I put into composing it.

I had to smile at some of your comments on this one. This shot was done by using a sunflower purchased at the local flower shop and placed in a vase sitting on top of a fence in my back yard. I used a flashlight for lighting(my ghetto version of a softbox) and then played with the sky in photoshop to make it a bit more moody. I didn't do any selective coloring on the flower other then a small S curve adjustment to bring out some depth.
