Yesterday I was on my first senior photo shoot with a great young guy named Ken. I have been thinking about getting into that market lately due to the fact that my style is suited for seniors and this was my first test run so to speak. I haven't had this much fun with my camera in months. I am looking forward to doing seniors again in the future. I love the energy that they have. This was one of my favorites of the day and I will be busy for a couple weeks finishing up the rest of them

Your portfolio is stunning. Love how you dodge and burn your photos

@Ming: No dodging and burning in these photos. Just some selective color, bracketing and layer masking.
Looks like a scene from a movie. I love your work.

Excellent shot - I read the caption first as I'm on dial-up right now, and I was expecting a senior citizen... :)

This is a good shot. Interesting scenes in each 'window'. Especially the web like pattern on the far right.

Very nicely composed. That is a grea setting for a portrait.

Hey, ur photos are really awesome. Where...i mean what kind of place is this? Looks like an old train station. This photo has loads of stories in it; the cracked window, the almost fade letters and the background which makes people want to think or know what it is, and of course the expression on ken's face. Well done.

@Levine: Yes it is a old train station. It's kind of a gallery of old broken down trains. A great place to spend some time taking pictures.
Perfect shot, beautiful colors and framing.

love the location and how every window captures its own picture and then they come together in a whole. Totally agree with you on the seniors, I really enjoy shooting their pictures and it is refreshing to see someone else doing senior pictures that are out of a box. Too many people do the same thing for each student and the fact is they are all different. I made my dad do mine so it wasn't a cookie cutter of everyone else's pictures. Keep up the good work and creativity.

I've never worked with Seniors but I imagine it is fun to get creative with them like this shot. As the others have said already - the 4 windows each with their own story really makes this shot. Ken should be happy to have this one for his collection!
