Daniel - your fire series is superb. The action, the people and the processing are all spot on. I love how you can see the expression through the mask in this one.

@Jason Kravitz: Jason, Thank you for your kind words. I have a secret passion of becoming a fireman one day when I have the time to commit to such an endeavor. For now I will admire them from the other side of a lens. I enjoyed the few hours I had to spend with these guys

Love love love the expression through the mask!! Great story here Daniel. And I think using (or at least I think you've used..) the HDR/Photmatix or is it just selective colouring? is outstanding!!!

@amy: Yes it does have that feeling but, I don't use Photomatix as I don't really care for plugins. I came up with a home grown bracket recipe that I wrote on my own so as not to have the same look as others in the HDR market.

every thinh has been already told, I love the hdr like effect, and the eyes of the fireman. great capture, enhanced by brillant post treatment...
