My wife and I spent the day yesterday in NYC and we had the oportunity to visit the location where the twin towers once stood. As I was walking along I found this man weeping and praying. Tears were welling up inside me as I took this picture. I could not help but to also pray for the families who have lost those whom they loved.
It has been many years
May our country never forget!

Indeed it must have been striking to take this shot, nevertheless, it's a great capture !!

it's a very moving shot... it's always sad to remember such a great tragedy, such great lost of lives... there is another event that took place today (6th Aug) that the whole world should never forget... 62 years ago today the first A-bomb was dropped on Hiroshima decimating close to 140,000 people and many more died afterwards of radiation poisoning... the destruction was even more horrendous... you have to see the pictures to understand it as it will silence you into tears... there are some links to pictures of the inhuman horrific destruction at my post today
Alfredo and myself have dedicated our shots today to these victims...
May the world never forget...
